Hear why our team think we are one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women 2022

Flexibility in the way we work

As a remote first company, we enable all of our employees the luxury of flexible working, so that they can feel comfortable with balancing work and life commitments.

“Lilli is a great place for women to work because you are empowered to use flexible and remote working to your advantage to put your life commitments first – no matter what you see as a commitment.”

Lydia Graham, People Coordinator

Versatility in our roles

As a rapidly growing scale-up, we are moving at tremendous speed as a business. Being able to work seamlessly across multiple departments and functions is a key skill of our staff, and what makes us push boundaries and break new ground in the health and social care sector.

“I love working here at Lilli, I’m encouraged to share my ideas, work with various departments on exciting projects and have fun whilst working every single day. We all work towards the company’s mission, and we genuinely care and want to make a difference to people’s lives in the real world and with our peers.

We have great female leaders here at Lilli, we are all supported and encouraged to get involved which is very rare to have and empowering for the rest of the girls. Lilli is a hidden gem.”

Lauren Starkey, Operations Coordinator

Collaboration is key

Collaboration is at the heart of our business, and we believe strongly in sharing knowledge between teams, asking questions, and working together to solve problems. There’s no egos, no gatekeeping, and no such thing as a silly question.

“I like working at Lilli because there is a collaborative, knowledge sharing culture in the engineering team. There isn’t any gatekeeping. No one makes you feel inferior for not having a computer science degree. There is no ego or one-upmanship. Questions are answered without condescension. Everyone wants to build the best product possible.”

Marija Trachtenberg, Front End Engineer

Being there for each other

Building a supportive team culture is what enables us to work together to solve problems, uplift and trust each other, and build a product that can help people live healthy, happy independent lives.

“I love working at Lilli because there is such a supportive and incredibly talented team and we are all pushing towards the same mission, to help people live independently.”

Sophie Rodrigues, Head of Product

“I enjoy working at Lilli because although I have been here for a short period of time, I can feel that there is a strong team culture with everyone working for the same end goal. Knowledge sharing occurs at all areas of the company and even at managerial level with someone always willing to help. The flexible work environment truly is that and the trust placed on employees to get the job done is admirable.”

Esther Ajiboye, Business Development Representative

A special culture

Lilli is truly a special place to be, and we owe it all to our fantastic team for bringing their positivity, progressiveness, and professionalism to work everyday. The culture here is special, and being selected as one of the top 10 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women 2022 gives us even more motivation to continue building an inclusive, supportive, and welcoming workplace for all.

“Working at Lilli has given me something I never imagined was real, the chance to tell people how much I love my job. The team here, the culture we have created and the values we live by, allows everyone the opportunity to thrive and flourish in their roles. The opportunities available to us, for us to continually learn, ask questions with no fear and have a significant input into the incredible product we are creating makes Lilli a great place to work for all. I’m so unbelievably over the moon and incredibly proud of the culture and team we have built for it to be accredited by Great Places to Work UK and being listed as number 9 in UK’s Best Workplaces for Women 2022 for small businesses, it’s just an amazing feeling knowing that we truly support women to do their best work and be their authentic selves in our organisation”
